BFF joined a craft circle. It’s so cheesy, I want in! In this circle, everyone must make1 thing for every member of the circle. She’s doing granny square trivet. A spot to put your hot dish straight out oven.

Just inherited a baby kitten. His eyes are still closed and umbilical cord still attached. Our neighbor went around asking if any of our cats were pregnant. But our cats are fixed and the female hardly ever goes outside. She asked if we could take this guy as she already has 3 cats and her husband would kill her if is she kept it. maybe I’m a sucker but I couldn’t let this little one go back to the streets with no momma to care for it. We went to the pet store last night before it closed and picked up milk and a nursing kit. We did some research and went to work.

the kitty was crying like crazy so I tried to find it. It wasn’t all that interested in the milk. My hub told me that the mom stimulates it’s bottom to make it poo and pee. Well… as terrible as this sounded I took an old washrag and rubbed his bottom. Sure enough the rag got warm and he quieted down a bit. Soon after the rag got warm it got brown and sticky. Ewwwww! We all got grossed out by that. That was our excitement last night and now to do it over again tonight.
